Long Time No See


















   

    This is not the first time I have drawn this image. Once, when I was sorely bitten by an ugly bug called loneliness, I drew a ROCKSTAR which I thoroughly enjoyed drawing.(It was somewhat similar to this one above).I consider that to be one of my favorite self made drawings because I am hardly left with any old stuff I used to draw. But this one I drew today, was very special. Not because of any monetary gains or something but for the satisfaction it provided me after such a long time I felt heaven while drawing it, my own world that I love being in.

    It was a drawing competition today at the office, which is not short of employees (Competition). As usual I could not keep myself away because Shirkers are made/known for that ,specifically..I was utterly disappointed because I was provided with crayons (kiddish), sketch pens (useless) and painting colors (aliens). I am a complete nuisance especially when it comes to painting because I dont understand Paint Brushes and dipping them continously in water to mix colors is too much tedious work I still sulk when I see people painting beautiful landscapes and portraits.They all look real, damn real. One more thing, I dont know how to mix painting colors, dumb@painting will be possibly my new email id..

    Anyway, Office has been quite nice to me till date."Nice" implies TT. Carrom, Guitar and Kite flying. So to be more nice, they allowed me to participate in the Drawing competition (Yayyyyy) but provided me various modes of coloring that I dont know how to use. I was left with nothing but a pencil, an eraser and a sharpener.Thats all. Done.

    My first thought was to draw a dragon that displays Chinese Invasion in our lives. But what do you actually do when the topic is "Anything You Like" ???? Dont draw Chinese dragons, Anna Hazare, social issues, scenery (mountain, tree, hut, river and a kid) and beaches because everyone thinks the same way. Draw what you feel, and this is how I feel. The Devil, The Guitar, The Ghastly thoughts (skull) and The Fire. Draw The Dreams.

    I cant say I will win any prize or not. To be honest, I do want to win and want everyone in the office (around a 1000 employees) to know Vikas. But what I heard from the passer byes, girls especially (Super Blush)  , I feel a winner already.

....and the best one was, as said by 3-4 guys, "Madam competition band karwao, winner idhar hai"
