Cricketing Ties - Without Threads!!
Mohali match witnessed the Indian PM sitting beside Pakistani PM watching a match that was really exciting to watch (the match).An invite was sent by our dear'o'dear PM to Pakistani High Commission to attend the match and so they did.And after the match, the same old talks of friendship started as it was something very new.A country that is democratically corrupt itself is going to have friendship with a country that is on the verge of self destruction.Even thing about it, is such a drag.
Kasab, a person who went on a killing spree, is being served as a King of some sorts. He is served whatever food he demands while the citizens of this country are paying for him through taxes.Isnt that video footage we have is a full proof of what that creep has done.He was supoosed to be hanged the moment he did that, and yet, our slow moving system keeps him alive, and well.
I am not sure where things are moving right now. The presence of our PM has been irritating me lately. All he has become is a slow moving, slow reacting and even slow speaking PM. The respect I (and some of my known) had for him is fading away. What the heck are we supposed to do with Pakistan?? This is something I dont understand.When they just cant the perpetrators to justice, why the hell send them files and reports to see as proof.Why cant we take an aggressive stand rather move at a turtle's pace all along the border??
I dont hate the people of Pakistan. Everyone knows the youth has been misguided. But everyone also knows who is the one misguiding them. Why doesnt our country then break up all the ties? Negotiation has completed its circle.It wont and would never result in any sort of change. There has been no proper stand that our country has taken thanks to the dumb system of governance and the dumber governments that we see going in and out every 5 years.
Shahid Afridi goes back home and says some positives about India.We praise him.After a while, he has foul words for India. We go mad. Only the non existent God knows why it happened, but the show we put up here was probably one of the worst. The moment somebody from outside says India is lacking quality, it is still poor, education system is aweful,it is corrupt, it is too much sentimental, it is too much religious etc., we go mad at the person. Nobody accepts anything. We are always trying to justify what we are with words, rather than justify with actions.
Cricketing ties with Pak are nothing but useless. Cricketers will play cricket but the ones who score sixes and fours wil always be in hiding and waiting for the right time to strike. Then again, an attack will happen. Cricket game would stop and blame game would start. The hunter will continue to kill and their prey would continue to die. Only 2 will suffer, the citizens and Cricket. Politicians will sleep so will the system. Its a never ending cycle now, thanks to the approach of our PMs, their successors and predecessors.
The innocent ones in Pakistan will continue to be misguided and the innocent ones here will continue to die. F*** this system.
