Crazy things to do on a trip
"The more I see the less I know, the more I like to let it go"
- Hey Oh (Snow) Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Its always good to have supporting elements with you which in fact differ from people to people. Mine is not being with people! Life is something that's not there, yet there and hence isn't supposed to be taken that seriously. If you take out the advertisements from the TV and your radio and those social media sites, you are probably taking out the tactics of fear that has been instilled in your head by advertisers.
Good part is I am at a very peaceful stage of life, and I think its always a choice to either fight out with situations or just get up and leave them behind. I was seeking out some better thing to work, which eventually put me in a little tensed phase with firstly getting no calls from anywhere suddenly when I was wanting it, secondly, falling sick with Chikungunya and feeling chained to bed and thirdly, of course mother's eyes were bulging out every other day, worried about work.
I found it. Took a little over 20 days but I did. Over with the little strain on my life. Back packed. Nephew ready and we ended up at the ISBT Kashmiri Gate again. If you're indecisive, laid back and random, here are the things you should do while travelling.
FLIP A COIN
What? Seriously you want to know where you are going? Isn't that killing enough that you know your destination is? Well, next time, just go and visit a bus station and spot two buses that go to places you don't know about or any other reason that you have, and decide which one you will take by flipping a coin. With trains it might be harder, but with buses it works just fine
DON'T TELL PEOPLE
Its very simple thing to do. People are always there to question your morals and salaries to compare themselves with your lifestyle and decide their behavior. These are people, you are not. Finish off your work, inform your mom/dad (family should always know about you) and leave. When people call you up the next day, their reactions will tell you the whole story.
DECIDE YOUR PLACE OF STAY ON-THE-SPOT
Well preferences can be different. Some love luxury, so for them a villa/resort with fancy clubs and pools is the right thing but for some a place to sleep is all that is required. And a better option is to take home stays, not the regular crowd filled stuff.
TRY USING LOCAL TRANSPORT
I know it's a little twisty and back breaking, but the only disadvantage I think local transport like a bus has is that you can't stop it in between anywhere. You get more stories to hear, more new and different people to know and new situations to face. All the time!
MAKE CRAZY VIDEOS
This time, my nephew assumed himself to Indian Bear Grylls and on the other hand turned himself into Amir Khan from the movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander. Instead of the regular Click Click Click with eternal poses that this generation makes, better capture fun than capturing 10k pics with rotten faces that are never going to be looked back to. Think of it, what do you with those enormous number of pics? Store? For what? Hahaha
FUCK AROUND
Wandering without purpose is what we should be doing. Take to any cafe, restaurant or bar, sit at any temple or go have a game with locals. Discover if you have time in hand. That's all what matters.
I dont think I really wanted to write this article in this manner. And right now I have lost it. Why did i begin? Don't know. I think its fun to loose.
