This place is crazy.I just dint felt like coming down. It was so serene. So much grappling. It felt so good laying on a mountain surrounded by snow and watching the sky. It felt so good when u have nobody to talk to (even though narayan and anmol never got quiet).Still it was a bliss. Open sky, clouds so close. It would be soooo good to live (and die) at that place......... I loved doing that BIIIIG slide down the mountain.,After coming down, my fingers went totally numb because i had no gloves and that snow froze my fingers while sliding down.Since had nothing to warm them up, we 3 went to that eating point, where i dipped them inside a boiling cooker. That guy cooked potatoes in that cooker just a few mins ago.Its pretty good to realize how hot that thing must have been.Ahhhh.WOW.Even the pain was so sweet. I have a good collection of marbles from this place now... But still....... On a mountain surrounded by snow. Beautiful.... Just too beautiful......

The scenes along Beas

THis temple was across the road and mom says it looks like vaishno devi.I dnt rmbr that but still this looked quite good.Anshul and I were trying to find how people approach this temple and we came to a conclusion. It can be approached through a boat only, since we could find no other road going there.May be at the back of the hill, there is a road. But even if it is there, the descend is quite big .So its concluded. River side temple only thru river. Thats it. Anyway i have 503 pics. And i donno hw many good ones i ll have to miss. What a pain.

Hadimba Temple and Shyam Baba Temple

Image
We start with Hadimba temple. She was the wife of Bheem, the mythical character of Mahabharat. I dont know i should still call Bheem a mythical character because when i entered inside the temple, it looked really real. It feels that someone did stay inside. Everything else is a religious matter. Let me be off it. Anyway. And the next Shyam Baba temple is over the hill above Hadimba Temple. It was part of the adventure we were seeking because we dint wanted to be with college people as they were going to the market. Not because we werent interested but since there were a lot of girls (and their shopping habits), we choose to be on our own.SO went over that hill and got to this temple (asking people). And yeah, we were invited to play cricket by the locals. The bat provided to us was too short and therefore, we ran short of the target too.Lost by 2 runs. And i lost my Goggles there. Uhh!! those same purple shades that won me that Nokia voucher. What a Drag!!

Dusk

Thanx to Sony's Cybershot, a 12 mp camera, owned by Mr.Puneet Bajaj (he doesnt knew i took it), i cud capture the moon between these huge trees of Manali. We were coming down form Shyam Baba Temple whn i saw this. The moment i see moon i remember Piccolo who blasted the moon because it turned Gohan into that big monkey. The manner in which he looks at the moon and says "the Moon" still rings in my ears. Anyway this is the dusk (almost) in Manali.

DAWN

Image
Man!! I dint sleep the whole night because of our voices and beer.Just slept for 10 mins and woke up to take these pics.Manali's entrance. A new sun. A new day. Suddenly i was between the mountains that i always wanted to see. This is the beginning of a trip with whole lotta people and some friends,my 1st in life,1st after 23 years of bullshitting existence, roaming around alone. Its the dawn in Manali.
